I’ve been in Florida a week now and am really having a blast! This has been some very well-needed time away. I’ve been doing plenty of visiting with friends and family, soul-searching, scrappin’, and working on all the excitement for 2010.

Hi Scrappers!

This is it! The final day to shop at Simply Scrappin’ in River Ranch is today, Wednesday, January 13th from 1-6 pm. All merchandise will be 75% off and all remaining orange tag items will be 50% off the marked price! We hope you all can join us!I know you all have tons of questions regarding the future of Simply Scrappin’. So, we’ve come up with a list of frequently asked questions that will hopefully help. However, if you still have any questions, feel free to e-mail me at elizabeth_avchin@yahoo.com .

FAQ
When is the last day the store will be open? Today, Wednesday, January 13th from 1-6 pm.

Where will the classes and crops be held? We will be holding many crops and classes at local hotels. We will NOT be having any more classes at our current location.

Will you still have the same name? Well yes, we will still be operating under the name Simply Scrappin’!

Will you keep the same website? Of course, so you’ll know just where to find us! You may even see a few cool new things on the website very soon. www.simplyscrappinstore.com

When will the online store be up and running? We hope for the online store to we ready for plenty of shopping by the first week of March. We’ll keep you posted!

Are you still going to send out emails? You ladies know me! We will definitely still send you email updates, coupons, and more. If you receive our emails already, you will continue to do so; if not, sign up on our home page!

How can we contact you? You may contact us by e-mail at elizabeth_avchin@yahoo.com or by phone at 337.981.3211. We are having the phone switched over to my home office so there may be a few days without phone. But, not to worry- it will be up and running very soon!

Are you still going to ScrapFest? Indeed, we are going to ScrapFest and many more great events around Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi.

At which events will you be a vendor? A list of everywhere you can find us should be up on the website and blog early next week.

Hi Scrappers!Thank you all so much for such sweet and encouraging words. The decision to close the retail store aspect of Simply Scrappin’ has been very bitter-sweet for me. I am extremely excited to turn my focus towards classes, crops, events, the on-line store, and all the fabulous cropping events where we are a vendor. I will truly miss spending such quality time with my customers. You ladies are so amazing and I truly can’t thank you enough for all the loyalty and support.We will be open tomorrow, Monday, January 4th from 10am-3pm and Tuesday, January 5th from 2pm-6pm. Simply Scrappin’ is Closing

It has been a difficult decision to make but I have decided to close Simply Scrappin’ as a retail store. Simply Scrappin’ will still exist but as a mobile and online store. We expect the online store to be up and running around the first of March. We will continue to hold the quality classes, crops, and special events you have grown to love and expect around Lafayette and the surrounding areas.

Thank you for all of your loyal support, encouragement, business, and most importantly your friendship over the past two years. I will certainly miss seeing all of you on a daily basis. It has truly been my pleasure to serve you as Lafayette’s Premier Scrapbook Boutique.

For all of you who purchased 2010 Creative Studio Memberships; each of you has been issued a Simply Scrappin’ gift card for the full amount you purchased your membership.

All Simply Scrappin’ gift cards may be used during the next few weeks at our River Ranch retail location, on our new online store, and on purchases made at any cropping events where Simply Scrappin’ will be a vendor.

I’m Back…

Devon and I got back in town yesterday afternoon from our cruise! We had a wonderful time! It was such a well-needed break. Now, we are back home and back to reality. My sweet lab Gator had surgery on his torn ACL right before we left. It was so good to see him doing so well and in great spirits when I picked him up from the Pet Spa (as they call it) yesterday afternoon. They said he was the happiest dog they’ve ever seen. He is very eager to run and play. So, needless to say it has been quite a challenge to keep him from being over active. We are constantly fussing at him to stop running through the house. Apparently, he’s glad to be home too. You should see him tearing through the house with this huge e-collar around his neck. I’m just waiting for him to knock over the Christmas tree. He runs into the coffee table, the tree, the walls, the side of the bed, and anything else that is in his path. It’s going to be a long recovery! Can you believe Christmas is in 4 days!?!? And, today is the first official day of Winter! Holy cow, how did that happen? The rate we are going there may just be a bit more snow in our future. This morning my yard was covered in ice.
